From 1st July 2014, CE Marking on structural steelwork became mandatory. Hatch Engineering Ltd are proud to have implemented the scope of standards as defined in EN1090 into our own quality management system.
The EN1090 standard pays particular attention to the management of welding processes and Hatch Engineering Ltd has recruited a dedicated and qualified Professional Welding Co-Ordinator. In addition to this, key personnel have successfully completed training courses relevant to the standard.
The company employs the services of a Nominated Body who audits our systems and issues certification of accreditation. This accreditation allows the company to CE Mark our products up to and incorporating the specific requirements of Execution Class 2, which is appropriate for the majority of buildings constructed in the United Kingdom.
Hatch Engineering Ltd are proud to be one of only a few companies in Kent to have completed and maintained this accreditation – proving once again our commitment to excellence in both the quality of our work and our level of customer service.
