Apprentice Welder & Fabricator
We have a great opportunity for an apprentice Welder/Fabricator to join our busy team.
We are an architectural and structural metal works company based near Ashford, Kent. We have great experience in the manufacture and installation of a wide range of areas such as staircases, railings, gates, structural beams, balconies and balustrades.
We are looking for someone to join us who is keen on taking a career in Welding and Fabrication the role will be Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm reporting to the workshop manager.
You will be shadowing workers and undertaking general duties which will include painting beams, cutting and drilling while under supervision, cleaning the workshop and occasionally going out on site. As you progress in your role the duties will increase.
In September you will be enrolled onto the Welding and fabrication Apprentice at college one day a week where you will achieve your certificate in Welding and Fabrication level 3.

The main purpose of the role:
We are looking for an experienced welder and fabricator to join our busy team, you must be experienced in Mig and mma welding, you will be required to work from drawings and as part of a team.
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm/40hrs per week with the occasional overtime but is not guaranteed.
Your first 3 months of employment will be on a probationary period, once this probationary period has been successfully completed you will be entitled to join the company pension scheme.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Previous experience of working as a welder/fabricator
Experienced welding to a high standard
Flexible attitude to work with the ability to learn and work quickly.
